Singer

I was at a Bonobo show earlier in the year, and I've been wanting to do some drawings based on it for a while. There'll be a couple more after this but for now here's the singer for that particular show.

Jean Vest

Saw a super stylin lady the other day; she was wearing all leather, except for a jean vest. I had to draw her.

Dark Souls

Despite never finishing it due to a corrupt save on the 2nd to last boss, Dark Souls is still one of the more interesting games to come out in recent memory. I decided to doodle my character, and can't wait for the second game to come out.

The Diving Bell and The Butterfly

Quite a while back I wanted to do a series of posters for some of my favourite films, but for whatever reason I ended up only doing just one. So here's the Diving Bell and The Butterfly poster I did based on the Julian Schnabel film. Also for anyone who has enjoyed the movie but has never read the source material, you should most definitely check out the book. The major events are all present in both mediums, but what the book is able to offer is quite different from the film adaptation.

I just finished season one of Hannibal. That show is firing on all cylinders except for the writing. The art direction and the cinematography are top notch; the gore and death scenes are all very artfully done, gruesome and stunning in a good way. (I'm surprised some of it made it to regular cable at all) With all the amazing production design, it's really too bad the general story and dialogue couldn't live up to the rest of the show. Anyways, I thought I'd try my hand at drawing Mads Mikkelsen; also, I really need to study up on how to caricature people..

Inktober No.29

It's late, but the last few days of October has been pretty busy. I ended up helping out with a friend's Halloween party, which turned out freaking awesome; so with all that going on I was only able to squeeze in a quicky for the last post of Inktober.
